Who is riding this morning?
I had to this morning from Hackney to Kew.
No such thing as bad weather, just wrong bike and clothes (no mudguards and thermal bibs would have been better than cotton trousers. 4 degrees, pissing down, i got home soaked and frozen.
Still trying to work out quite what the equivalent temperature would have been taking into account the wind chill and heat loss to the cold rain.

Did 100 miles, also in the wrong clothes (with the right clothes being a wetsuit).

I went for an hours runvduring a gap in the rain, although admittedly I ran like a man who was made from parts donated to medical science by a motley collection of criminals and deviants.

Anyone know of any lightweight gloves with a bit of a grip that don't then superglue themselves to any velcro on your bag or jacket?
I don't like heavy or too padded gloves, and run warm. My DeFeet gloves are great - nice and warm, great grips, especially when carrying the bike in between station platforms.
However, when trying to do anything with my bag that has velcro closures they stick like sh*t to a blanket.
I can't wear wool as I'm allergic, and have plenty of standard non cycling gloves without grips but find they are slippery when carrying the bike.

I like the chilly weather. Lessens the risk of my cold cold heart melting.

I got blown all over the place tonight, some very severe gusts seemingly coming from every direction.
-

Side winds bad enough to blow you into on coming traffic. Serious.
I pity any fool riding with a disc tonight. Actually, I just pity fools who ride with a disc.Every direction but to the back...
I think I had a tail wind for about 200m of my 13 mile commute -

I seemed to have a head wind the whole time on this little spin:
