  • ^^^ Aye, my mum is constantly complaining that whenever there's a tiny hint of extreme weather in London the national news doesn't shut up about it, when it's usually been five times worse in the rest of the country for weeks. She lives in Swansea.

And on that note, I heard rumour of possible snow later today, bring on the headlines!

  • snowing now in Highbury.. well, trying to.

  • Certainly the worst morning for riding today in some time. 4 degrees and pelting rain at 0600 during my ride in. Still wet.

  • Is it snowing in London t'day?

  • sleet now in EC. it was trying to snow at 7am

  • Tiny bit of snow in countryside of se18

  • It was snowing in Forest Hill this morning when I left.

  • Snowing in N2 when I Ieft. Not many cyclists out there this morning

  • snow intermitently on Oxford Street
flurries I think Bill Giles would have called it

  • The idea of going out on days like today is far worse than the reality. Once you're out in it, as long as your wearing the right clothing, it's fine.

I had a great ride in this morning bar the arsehole in a van who decided I needed pushing onto the cobbles at the top of Dog Kennel Hill just so he could get into the right lane. Short arse wanker.

Me too, went the long way round as it takes me off round the coastal path.

Turned up to work covered in mud.

    Happy days indeed.

  • damp shorts :(

  • I was enjoying my ride this morning with snow blowing in my face on nodder free roads (bar me of course), right up until the moment my rear flatted.

  • Wow ... wind and rain in earnest out there (Ealing ... and moving East)

  • It's hitting Euston now.

  • was just on way home from completing my festive 500 and got caught in that.

    fitting end to the riding

  • Got caught in that too. Like a fucking monsoon. Satisfying though...

  • It was fun until the bit where I was riding into the wind and couldn't see anything except vague blurry lights for the rain hammering into my eyes. That was some pretty serious rain.

  • A319 landing in very strong crosswinds this morning. Not very aero.

  • Awesome headwind fun this morning!

  • strongest winds of the last couple of weeks this morning kept on being blown sideways take care for those winds funneling round buildings
    head down arse up peeps

  • Ooof... S'windy.
