  • Massive thunderclap just now in N1 along with the heavy snow. That or a train just derailed, I've not looked out the window yet.

  • Don't get thunder with snow do you?

  • Sometimes yes. I did look out the window and no sign of trains or buses crashing so I'm pretty sure that's what it was.

  • Pretty sure this is what's going on outside:

There was a video on the BBC filmed in Newcastle the other week where the interview about the snow was interrupted by a massive thunderclap with lightning in the background, can't find it now though.

  • It's not thunder. It's the noise that estate cannibals make when they scent blood. Lock your doors!

  • Meant to go to Ashford for a job today. No trains, so sitting at home in the warm. Tempted to venture tot he cinema later though. Old St is a complete whiteout, no hipsters to be seen.

  • Anyone know of a pub in central(ish) that has a fire?

  • Just been some thunder and lightening around bermondsey. Might head north. I know theres an open fire at the wrestlers in highgate!

  • 20cm of snow forecast for today... I'll probably be hitting the Regent shortly if anyone fancies it... :D

  • BEST RIDE HOME EVER!!!!!!!!!!
I added like 20 mins just to have fun, by riding round and round putney common.
Road cleats suck in snow though, continually having to bash the shit out of them.

    FUCK YEAH SNOW RULESSSSSSS!!!!

Anyone else immediately think "Thunder- thunder- thunder- thundersnow!"? No? Just me? OK then...

  • Tempted to fit the snow tyres on the car and do a bit of rally driving around peckham and surrounding areas!

  • Fuck driving.
    get your bike out.

  • Just drove (don't judge - I have my reasons) to the studio to try to get some work done. There was a real hero on a road bike picking his way down Stepney Green. Blue fisherman style waterproof trousers, slick tyres and a can do attitude. I sat behind him all the way to Mile End Stadium (no overtaking wobbly bikists on a rink like that), he even made it over the Canal Bridge. Good work!

  • I gave some people Hi 5s.
    because I'm a 4yr old.
I was seconds away from hugging people on bikes, but decided against it (prudently probably)

Pretty much any of them if you bring a box of matches.

I thought a plane had crashed somewhere, but I heard the thunder too.

  • The Dover Castle behind Portland Place on Weymouth Mews has a fire and it's cheap too!

Glad someone is as excited as me.

Just rode into Putney and back (on 23c slicks). So. Much. Fun.

  • I looked into Grind, all hopeful like, but decided to keep riding.
The Holdsworth boys all gave a nice wave.

  • A trip to Grind is on my agenda once I get the kids squared away I think. Will take the Swift this time though probably.

  • good plan.
its fun riding bigish tyres on the cross bike.
    its such a good fit.
