Anything as in routes to be used on the device? Very strange, as that function works for me on at least 3 different Wahoo devices. What are you doing to try and send the routes over?

Garmin 1030 Plus. Burn the rest.

Yep, it just keeps failing. It's been a while since I used it so can't remember the exact wording of the process tbh! It worked fine for over a year until the app got updated.

I have this nice Garmin mount, that won't tighten onto the bars any more - the bolt just spins in its socket.
I think it should have some kind of nut where I've put the red circle.
Does anyone have one and can let me know? Anything to save some needless plastic waste.

Longer bolt and a nylock nut?
-

They usually have a small nut in there. Probably m3.
I suggest the local b&q nuts and bolts pick and mix. Have one fall into your shoe and leave

Speaking of these Garmin mounts, I crashed and snapped the tabs off mine. Given they're designed to be removed and rotated for different mounting orientations, does anyone have a spare round bit from an otherwise broken mount kicking about?
The bit where the actual Garmin clamps to.

Possibly have one lying around as I've moved over to Wahoo. I'll check when I get home and if I do then you're welcome to it

I lost my Garmin bangle when travelling. Do I want to replace it with a new one or are there other products I should consider? To be honest I was perfectly happy with the combo of automatic watch on my left hand and bangle on my right. But I would consider changing if there exists something that could help me focus on staying in zone 2 when running. A kind of alarm that let me know when I pushed above and entered zone 3 for example.

Surely most (all?) Garmin watches do this. [Activity] > Settings > Alerts > HR and it'll buzz when you go above/below a zone or value.

I doubt anyone will need this, but I found one of the mounts for the old style computers (pre-quater turn) if anyone wants it just PM me and I'll post it free.
I believe it's from my old Edge 305

Garmin Connect down for anyone else? Been 6+hours

Just been on RWGPS to look for a route and met with the frankly horrific news that the terrible explore search that is so atrocious on the app is being phased in as the only way to search for routes on the website as well... this is not good news, apparently the normal Find function is available for a limited time only and will then be gone...

I found a dash cam in the road, picked it up thinking it was a GPS as there’s loads of people using the street as part of a training loop and the London cycling grapevine would likely see it returned to its owner but not as it’s a dashcam from a motorbike or car.
It’s a Nextbase 522, no idea what to do with it now? -

Hand to the cops. Review the footage and see if you can find the owners though that?
-
• #3044
Most dashcams will have the reg burned in to the footage (although that may be done on export).
I'd get any info I can from it, including a possible address if you can work it out from any footage, and then hand it to the police with that info on a piece of paper.

Watch the footage and follow the journey in reverse?
-
• #3046
Oh that's really shit. I use that a lot.

Huge downgrade :(

They're hiring if you want to fix it for them: https://ridewithgps.com/careers?lang=en

Me too - genuinely may not be able to use it any more for 90% of what I have used it for, basically turns a massive super-useful database into a vague and pretty random mess, as far as I can see... why can't people just leave stuff that works alone :(

Tempting!
It just won't let me send anything from my phone to my Wahoo. The app is totally fine when it works, it does everything I need it to. Apparently it's a known issue and I've been told they've fixed it but it's still not working for me.
