GPS tech (Garmin, Hammerhead, Wahoo, RWGPS, etc)

Does anyone know how to hide the little triangle that indicates if you're above or below your average speed? It annoys me.

Change the display field from “Speed (vs average)” to just “Speed”.

Was thinking that but I can't find a Speed data field...

Jeeesus, Garmin must now hold the record for number of proprietary charging interfaces? Between me and my partner we have 4 devices all with different interfaces already.

"proprietary"? I have 5 Garmins and they all use standard Mini USB or Micro USB.

Edge 25 uses a special interface, and the fenix watches. Then one each of micro or mini usb.

They're punishing you for running. :P

I have a car Garmin that uses both mini USB (for power in the car) and micro USB (for data).

I think every other manufacturer stopped using mini about a decade before Garmin did.

They're still both pretty common standards. Better than Apple in that regard.

Well the charger next to me isn't USB C and that's Apple. My old ipod isn't the same. There's multiple MagSafe connectors. They fucked off a standard headphone jack, blah blah blah, just because the latest stuff finally uses a standard connector doesn't mean my example was poor.
If you're just looking at latest kit then Garmin is basically the same as Apple.

Am tempted by this. But will resist until someone else finds out how many serious bugs there are. All of which Garmin will refuse to fix...

New Roam looks interesting. I've really liked using the Bolt and would definitely consider upgrading.
