  • Rob O'Cop remake was good enough.
Just remember it's not as good as the Veerhoven, not even close.

Have I, frankystien to watch and Her.
Also lovefilm sent me Pacific Rimjob to watch, which will be nice (saw it at the pictures, so I know what Im getting into)

  • Saw Robocop last night, no where near as good as the original but watchable.

  • Just watched this:

DIE FARBE - The Colour Out of Space (English subtitles) - YouTube

Adaptation of Lovecraft's The Colour out of Space. Really good and gripping, cinematography had a Tarkovsky vibe, feel the music is a bit heavy handed, but then Dark Souls might have spoiled me for that

  • ooh. i might watch that later.

did anyone ever catch this? contains Tori Spelling and no actual Cthulhu.

Official Trailer for Cthulhu, the Movie -- NEW JULY 07 - YouTube

  • I'm not sure how you would do Cthulhu justice. Hard enough with something as abstract as The Colour Out of Space (spoiler they don't do it that well)

  • the best lovecraftian films have nothing to do with lovecraft per se. The Thing for example... and this place in brixton.

  • Ha!

  • some good recommendations to be had here, if you like that sort of thing...

    http://lovecraftzine.com/movies/mikes-recommended-lovecraftian-movies/

  • Lego Movie is awesome...

  • Do you has files? I really want to watch that and have a train journey this weekend...

  • I 'purchased' it yesterday... Yus... Bleep me...

  • Just watched Tokarev, so many unintentional lolz... Amazing rubbish... Worst dialogue, plot, everything... Very enjoyable...

  • Calvary - amazing film, dark, atmospheric and foreboding. Co Sligo looked amazing.

  • lego film

gave up half way through. the movie equivalent of eating 5 kilos of haribo, necking 4 pints of special brew and then doing a marathon.

    utter mindpiss.

  • Y so serious?

Monuments Men is a good watch... I also enjoyed Pompeii, although it is complete cobblers... Very nicely made rubbish... I watched both on the save night, felt like an early 60s Hollywood blockbuster remake night...

  • mindpiss, he he!

  • That is a keeper...
    adds to Fuxicon

  • So you reckon Monuments Men is alright? It got rubbished by the critics.

  • absolutely mauled eh?

  • It's a total 60s style WW2 romp, it's fine... A little bit flag-wavy but you've gotta expect that...

  • Calvary - amazing film, dark, atmospheric and foreboding. Co Sligo looked amazing.

want to see because Kelly Reilly........ooohhhhhh

  • +1 on Kelly. Cool with give MM a go. I am a sucker for WW2 films.

  • It's a great cast, it looks like they had a lot of fun making it... I'm not snobby about these kind of movies anyway, pure escapist Hollywood fluff...

  • I'm watching Tokarev, it is truely truely awful.
It's a Nic Cage has Shit Hair film to the max.
Continuity is way off, acting is sub-syfy channel levels.
I'm enjoying it in a weird way.

  • So Lovefilm as it's become Amazon won't let you add not-yet-released movies anymore to a waiting list.

This sucks somewhat large size objects with an unpleasant taste. That's for me not trying to use "internet cinema" ;)
