  • Has anybody seen Nymphomanic?

Not sure if to risk it or not. Did like Antichrist/Melancholia. With "like" being the utter wrong word for any van Triers move.

  • "chi non risica non rosica"

  • ^

"That's another 5 hours of my life I'll never get back"

    Etc.. ;)

  • THE GREAT BEAUTY Trailer | Festival 2013 - YouTube

Cheers - really looking forward to this - have greatly enjoyed Paolo Sorrentino's Consequences of Love and The Family Friend

  • It's quite hypnotic and it has interesting dialogues, while it tells a story it show some great photography. I loved it.

So, just don't bother a get safe. Time is money.

  • Lego Movie is great

  • So, just don't bother a get safe. Time is money.

I can do a compromise and skip half of each movie. I sat through the 3.5 hours of "Once upon a time in Mongolia". Nothing happens, yet it was strangely engaging.

  • enjoyed Lone Survivor - decent firefight - amazing how many times these Navy Seals can get shot and still not die eh?

  • Yeah I did think that too, obviously the movie may have been slightly exxagerated but getting shot in the arm or leg I assume wouldn't kill so you would still be alive but a little less mobile. Think movies where everyone dies instantly are slightly incorrect ha!

Oh and obviously these are the Seals, the US's darlings so it will be made out they are super human...

  • Compromises are synonym of efficiency, you can skip half of each movie and use the other half considering which half of the movie is more convenient to skip. Sounds engaging with less lost.

  • Has anyone tried Popcorn Time yet? It looks cool, only I've hit play button on one of the movies and it still buffering. Most likely it's just my shitty internet connection.

  • Pearoast!? New Black film's youtube channel with a quick trailer for a poigniant film about a totally 531 guy.
Pantani: The Accidental Death of a Cyclist (Trailer) - YouTube

  • And this film was pretty great, BBC films involved I think so it should make to TV soon if it hasn't been screened already ...

Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer (2013) - Official Trailer - YouTube

  • I cut em both btw. hashtagprouddad

  • Top notch vids which cover from A to Z pretty much.

  • Hmm you say what please?

  • Manipulative power in the hands of tyrants and tyrants's media. But also how sometime all that can be flipped back to the senders.

You can't get back the dead or years of prison though.

  • Off to see Grand Budapest Hotel with Secret cinema this evening, I am excited! will report back later.

there used to be a music journalist - Dele Fedele - wrote for the NME among other publications - he was pretty unfathomable, you remind me of him...

can you give me 500 words on Slowdive by Monday?

  • Sure, why not, look I give you first a vid later the rest.

  • Half way through a second viewing of Alan Partidge: Alpha Papa. Was underwhelmed first time, even more so this time. Such a shame as I love the original series.
