  • Yup, I watched that - was an easy watch and a couple of good performances.

  • I gave up on The Raid halfway through.
    It's constant, mindless, non-stop fighting.

    it's gripping action.
edge of my seat most of the time.
    serves it's purpose well.

    new one coming out:
The Raid 2: Berandal - Red Band Trailer (2014) [HD] - YouTube

  • Joshua Oppenheimer's The Act of Killing
    Herzog's The White Diamond.

    Good stuff

  • The Act of Killing - that film is just something else. When you murder so many people that surplus blood is your biggest worry then... I guess it's time to make an insane musical about your antics.

One of the most arresting documentaries ever for me. Stuck with me for weeks.

I could've slept through it, you can 100% guarantee that the next scene will be fighting. Fighting fighting fighting.

I had a couple of friends who had the same reaction when they went to see it at the cinema. I thought it was an odd criticism - it's a martial arts film, of course it is all fighting. That's what martial arts films are. If you don't like the genre then that's fine, but I'm not sure it's a fair criticism of the film itself. It's sort of a bit like going to the ballet and coming away complaining that it was all just dancing.

  • Watched The Butler last night, really enjoyed it but it left me with a nagging feeling at the end... Dunno why... 7/10

  • Just signed up for a free month of Netflix. First thing I've watched is Dexter's Lab. So good.

  • 9

Revisited, still really really enjoyed, moral still relevant. Animation still brilliant.

  • Loving Netflix just because they actually can be arsed to add subtitles in their line-up (least, most of them).

  • dimi you should check out unblock.me for an extra 3 quid odd a month ($5) you can choose between netflix regions, the US library is massive.

  • Cool, thanks Caz. I'm sure I can find a free proxy.

  • Yeah there'll be loads, that one works consistently though and my internet-fu is weak when it comes to finding a VPN I can stream with.

  • There's a free plug-in for chrome that I use - hola or hula or something like that. Works perfectly fine, in my experience. Occasionally makes you look at an ad for 5 seconds before taking you on to Netflix. Seems like a fair price...

  • Hmm I'll have to try harder then, I normally use my smart tv or ipad to use Netflix though and the VPN makes it really easy..

  • hola works good

  • Caught this documentary - really interesting look at the Israeli situation from the eyes of senior members of Shin Bet (Israeli internal security service).

  • Rush.

    fantastiche!

and i dont even horse racing.

  • Loving Netflx, actually managed to find films that have subtitles, which previously could not be obtained in VHS or DVD.

    What about sites like this:
    http://www.opensubtitles.org/en or
    http://subscene.com/

  • Star Wars Episode V then Shaun of the Dead on ITV2 right now.

    Pretty good Sunday session IMO

  • Up. First half, wonderful, second half, meh.

  • Looking forward to watching Rush last night. I wonder if it will be as good as SENNA? That film was awesome.
