Talking of Runner something film. There was a very good doco about the making of some fantasy film by Ridley Scot on the other night.. Not Alien. Some other film.. It was called "Dangerous Days" originally..

Good doc

Been on a two day movie binge:

Looper - Excellent
The Cabin in the Woods - Good laugh
Taken 2 - Piss poor cash-in
Premium Rush - Don't bother
Pitch Perfect - Ashamed to say I quite liked it
Grabbers - Decent but not as good as the hype suggests

Argh, so annoyed I can't watch Premium Rush.

I watched End Of Watch yesterday. Thought it was really good.
Wasnt expecting it to be hand held camera style all the way through.... found it a bit annoying at first, but got used to it in the end.
Cracking performance from both the lead roles....

reccomended.

Catch Me If You Can was on telly the other night. Still brilliant.

Finally got round to watching Prometheus.
Rather disappointed. But then again I went into it knowing that it had been criticised so I kind of expected it.

Tonight: Ruby Sparks. I've been looking forward to this one after hearing good things about it when it was released.

Ha, never heard of this MPDG trope. However, it brings Happy-Go-Lucky to mind. An entire film devoted to the character.

Basically drive, but with a different vehicle. RyGo looks like he could do an Elliott Smith biopic based on how he looks at moments in the trailer for this - something I would love.

It does look very good. Don't forget Gangster Squad is out this month as well. Which also looks pretty decent too.

He does seem to have the formula down for getting two movies out at the same time. One a big budget movie clearly for the money and then one low budget indie movie for the cred.

I know what you mean. I don't think it is him as such, its the roles. All of his roles are a little bit psycho. I think he has been type-cast now as well.
