  • Watched Te Help this evening which I would recommend

  • Yes 'the help' has some good moments

  • Watched Limitless last night - very entertaining and would recommend.

  • Promethius trailer last night anyone? No? No?

For a forum that used to practically run on Aliens quotes I thought this might have raised an eyebrow. I'm not a big sci-fi fan and have been totally indifferent to anything in the franchise since Aliens (the second one). But this looked amazing. Real sense of dread which brought back the tension of seeing Aliens for the first time. Can't wait.

  • i am actively avoiding all Prometheus propagander, mainly because i really want to see the film (more than anything else in the last 4 years)

  • ^ Me too, does anyone know what rating it is going to be?

  • apparently they are not aiming for a 'friendly' rating, i would imagine a 15.
    out 1 June iirc

  • proper gander?

  • London aerial 1 on Vimeo

It's London but reminds me of the opening of a film

  • which film? total recall?

  • nah, probably some costume drama

  • oh the rocky horror picture show

  • Promethius trailer last night anyone? No? No?

The trailer is incredible... that and the new Batman trailer have made me very happy this week.

    ^ see above...

You can now book tickets for it at the IMAX... I have two at the back in the centre for June 6th at 1.20pm. Link: http://www.bfi.org.uk/whatson/bfi_imax/coming_soon/now_booking/prometheus_an_imax_3d_experience_15_tbc

    Can. Not. Wait.

  • Prometheus, Dark Knight Rises, Skyfall, The Bourne Legacy, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, The Raid, The Amazing Spider-man.

    2012 has potential.

    Don't fuck up, filmmakers.

  • They will with Skyfall. It'll be Awfall.

  • iswydtaid

  • iswydtaid

is that in north wales, i think i've been there

  • More south west. Near Bethlehem.

  • It's next door to Skyrim. Which isn't a former Neighbours character performing something above and beyond the call of duty.

  • Batman trailer looks unreal. Cannot wait

    Skyfail
    Skawfall

    If only.

  • Incidentally, why all the Skyfall negativity when next to nothing is known about it?

  • Good cast, good crew - Mendes is surely a cut above the dregs we've had to put up with pre-Marc Forster. Roger fucking Deakins DPing it? Hell yeah! Plus a Thomas Newman score (not that David Arnold was bad - I thought he did a great job - but seriously, this is a calibre of production staff we've not seen in yonks!)

The only criticism I've heard so far is the handbags at dawn moment after the talk of Bond drinking Heineken. Who gives a shit?

  • It's a 15

    .

Which is probably the average mental age of people on this thread (me included) in terms of our film taste or we are all complete escapist from life love and commitment (as my GF keeps telling me)
    Batman
    Spiderman
    Promethius
    Avengers
    Total recall
    Alien
    and ridley scott movies
    just rented 12 monkey's again ...
    ffs!
