  • Watched Cassandra's Dream last night - It was rubbish - in many ways - and I'm a Woody Allen fan!

    An abomination of a film.

It's all gone a bit Barry Norman

    "And why not..."

I turned SATC off when big persuaded the driver to do a U-turn on a one way, park up and then after being beaten with the floral arrangements drive off the wrong way down the street apparently ghosting magically through the traffic that had built up...

    it made me lolly

    Why the long face Sarah?

Apollo something or other, 18 I think, coming soon. Love Apollo 13, one of my favourite films actually. Very tense. But enough about me.

Is Tom Hanks in this one?

My fucking GOD the Big Lebowski..... utter waste of 2hrs of my life.
    SHiiiiiiiite.

    Over-hyped wank

    Philistine.

Cowboys and Aliens - let us never speak of this atrocity again

    Utter arse gravy.

    Fantastic - have some rep...

Just watched The Inbetweeners Movie. Harmless fun really and I learnt a new word -clunge.

Nearly as impressed as when I heard someone referring to Eamonn Holmes as a prunt.

  • one of my uptight colleagues was horrified when i used the word twunt in the office

  • Family get together tomorrow James. I'll be sure to use that one. The old man loves combinations of words like those.

  • Got tricked into going to see "One Day" the other night. Not only was I gutted that I though I was going to see the inbetweeners but once I sat down. Having scanned around the cinema. It was full of groups of females... Together

From then on in I knew I was gonna have a tough ride. 5 mins into the film I guessed what was gonna happen.... Then had to sit for 2 hours while it wallowed on and on and on.

People laughed at bit, I couldn't even get a smirk on. I just wanted to throw myself under the next available bus.... The girl that picked it well even she said it was shit. I don't blame her as she made it up.

But for the love of man do NOT go and see it at any cost. Fuckin worst shit ever. Also I'm not letting her pick a film again after that atrocity

  • Yeah, but Anne Hathaway's one for the wank-bank though.

  • Now watching Limitless. Anyone else seen it?

It okay, not amazing and not terrible either. Post back one you have seen it.

  • Yeah, but Anne Hathaway's one for the wank-bank though.

Not in my book see aint... She does get better looking as the film goes on. But Nahhh

  • Now watching Limitless. Anyone else seen it?

I quite liked it as said not amazing, not the worst. Plus Bradley Cooper is quite cool in it too. If there was any of they pills on the go as in the film i'd be on it rapid

  • ^ Same here. Money wouldn't last long though

  • Now watching Limitless. Anyone else seen it?

I think limitless is really nice layed out on how when he's on the drug, the film has bright and alive colour and when he isn't it's all dull and dead. IMO I think its a great film but everyone's entitled to their own opinions :)

  • Now watching Limitless. Anyone else seen it?

I liked it. Entertaining and a good sound track.

  • Yeah, but Anne Hathaway's one for the wank-bank though.

Love and other drugs is better.

  • Hottub time machine - fun and entertaining sort of film that is acceptable
Brighton Rock - Original and remake Original great and dark and scary remake too long and not dark or scary

  • Hottub time machine - fun and entertaining sort of film that is acceptable

Entertaining though not so funny when you watch it a second time. That is the true measure of a great funny film.

Can't remember the original. Though Keira Knightly is in the remake so that has got to be a plus, right? In my Lovefilm queue so I will see it soon.

  • Only watch the original.

  • was super 8 shit spotter?

I thought it was roundly unoriginal. The special effects where ok (the train crash being the best bit) but it didn't make up for the plot. I knew exactly what was going to happen from start to finish. It didn't manage to elicit a single emotion from me, other than the desire for it to finish. Just another monster movie, where the monster turns out to be no so bad and really the humans are the bad ones..

Funny but I doubt I will ever see it again

Got sent it by accident and its got richard attenborough in it, william hartnell too.

  • Watched 'The Guard' this evening and it truly is hilarious. Big thumbs up!

  • Watched The Heathers last week (Winona Ryder, Christian Slater) - loved it. Absolutely loved it.

  • Heathers is an 80s diamond of a movie.

Watched RotPotA yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Although it was Deep Blue Sea with monkeys

  • ugh, I really wanted super 8 to be awesome, though ET 2.0 sounds good.

  • Re: Blade Runner sequel/prequel

I don't want to live in this world anymore.gif
