Everything about Heat is incredibly satisfying. Nobody shoots LA quite like Mann does. The early morning hour is captured beautifully on more than one occasion. New speaker set up to new TV certainly gave the shoot-out scene a new tilt. Pacino's gun makes the most ridiculous noise : ]
(this scene was mostly shot by Mann himself - which is the reason he's half deaf and can't record sound for shit anymore in any of his movies) True fact.
