over the last week. green book and all about eve probably my faves
enjoying some of the older black and white classics from 40's and 50's i wouldn't usually go out of the way to watch, some sparkling repartie, great stories and actresses from a bygone era what's not to like

It's on me for expecting anything different, but Interceptor (on Netflix) is bad.

His books are batshit crazy high octane goggins. (Currently working my way through the Jack West Jr series)
Interest in the movie was piqued, then waned once I saw the trailer.

I'll still watch it because I am a mug.

Went to the cinema for the first time in ages and enjoyed a bit of 80s throwback with Top Gun.

Maverick is looking good for 60 years old.

Hustle on Netflix, Adam Sandler does good again, one to watch if you’re an NBA trainspotter.

The Batman - meh. One of the less bad superhero things I've seen but just a bit dull. It was trying really hard to make the neo noir thing work but at the end of the day the main character is some geezer who goes round whispering at people, dressed like a bat. I like Pattinson and Dano so was hoping for a bit more, oh well. It looked pretty good in parts though.

Also pretty surprised by 15 rating.

Don’t get it.

Watched X last night. Pretty good schlocky horror/satire, recommended.

Enjoyed Jurassic World Dominion more than the critics, it seems

I thought it was better than Fallen Kingdom.

Maybe a bit too much fan service and nods to the OG, but I had a good time.

Any suggestions for a good mindless blockbuster type thing? Anything not superhero related.

I watched 'I never cry' last night. Really good recent Polish film. The lead actress was particularly good I thought.

new Matrix and Ghostbuster films are on Now/Sky, and offer low stakes entertainment.

We watched El Buen Patron last night, it’s very good
