  • Spiderman is always the best, but Captain Marvel is pretty boss.

  • We skipped both guardians of the galaxy films as we'd watched them both at least once recently, they're basically the best out of the lot though, with Spiderman as the best character.

  • Didn't introduce the kid to Deadpool either.

  • I though the Spiderman in Venice was shit.

  • Is now a good time to watch Rambo III ?

  • Has anyone seen Party Monster, any good? Or know of any good films about the Club Kids?

    Cheers.

  • TBF it wasn't as good as the first one, or seventh one or whatever.

  • stuck jungle cruise in the middle, not too bad for what it is, although the rock always looked a bit like a cartoon

In spite of having The Rock (who I love, obvs) and Emily Blunt (who I also love), even Paul Giamatti (who I like like), not much could save this film.

A bit too Raiders of the Caribbean.

    And Jack Whitehall.

  • And Jack Whitehall.

    Him and fucking James Corden

    the Boris Johnson(s) of "acting"/"comedy".

How do they keep getting bigger and bigger jobs when it's clear they're entirely unfit for purpose

  • Isn't James Corden in the US, where comedy is measured against The Big Bang?

  • That's the theory.

  • The suicide squad was fun, better then the last one for sure.

  • But it's the last time the Taliban were the heroes.

  • Jolt comes under teh "so shit it is almost good" category.

Have low expectations and they will be met.

just finished it. the "final" bad guy was so badly conceived & implemented I refuse to score it any positives for anything else on principle. also the baby throwing scene... absolute nonsense.

    4/5 nicholas cages

  • Yeeting babies was a highlight for me.

  • ok so Snake Eyes must have saw that me post that review and said hold my beer because I don't think it's physically possible make a blander "orphan learns martial arts from secret sect of fighters to get revenge on man who killed his father" film than this... turned off before the halfway point because I literally could not give a single fuck about any of it.

    rating: G.I. No

  • Watched the Frank Grillo time loop rampage revenge film
    Quite entertaining.

    Chained straight into Llamageddon
    So far, so shit.
    Title is amazing though.

  • A Quiet Place part II is just as good/terrible as the first

  • Boss Level was undemanding fun, felt like it could have been more but much more readily a whole lot less

  • Well...that's another film where the trailer alone was enough to make me cry!

  • Different tact, but I enjoyed 'Anna and the Apocalypse'. Low budget Scottish musical zombie film with Paul Kaye starring as the nutjob. Doesn't really do a lot, but enjoyed the songs. Should be more musical films.

Followed up by 'Chef'. Surprising cast, very much WYSIWYG, but entertaining and enjoyable.

  • What Men Want

Raucous remake of the Mel Gibson film with the genders switched. Taraji P. Henson is hilarious and about as different a character as possible to the one she played in Hidden Figures.

  • Suicide squad 2021 great weekend daftness. Great fun

  • Probably a bit low brow for the film enthusiasts, but I enjoyed the new musical Cinderella. Pretty good cast, reasonable singing (although not upto the Greatest Showman), fairly good take on 'modernising' the whole damsel in distress angle of old these old tales. Doc Brown is excellent, as is the fairy godmother actor.

Solid 6/10 for silly afternoon watching.

Edit, lots of upset people on IMDb for colourblind casting which seems odd.
