  • On episode 3 of the Tiger King. Its alright I guess. Fucked up story for sure

Yeah The Platform was a bit lame

  • The Lighthouse is so good. Just watched Existenz which is not Willem Dafoe's best film...

  • I remember Existenz. Was impressed at the time. Jennifer Jason Leigh?

  • Would recommend sticking with Tiger King, it gets a bit sluggish in the middle and could definitely have been edited down a fair bit. The story gets so bonkers that it's worth persevering with!

  • 10 Things I Hate About You - 90s guilty pleasure of mine

  • Dug out a couple more oldies last night.

The Commitments - A bit dated, its corny but good fun, their rendition of Dark End Of The Street is worth the price of admission.

Romeo + Juliet (Leo version) - a masterpiece . Hard to believe this was 1996, it was ahead of its time.

  • Saw Portrait of a Lady on fire last night. Absolutely brilliant film.

It’s available on Curzon Home cinema (you’ve gotto pay though)

Then saw Peanut Butter Falcon - also super good.

  • Romeo + Juliet (Leo version) - a masterpiece . Hard to believe this was 1996, it was ahead of its time.

Love his The Great Gatsby, on my list of favourite films

  • After someone on here suggested it I watched Cobra. It was as truly terrible as you'd expect an 80s action film starring Sly and Brigitte Nielsen would be.

    I quite enjoyed it.

  • Absolute fuckin classic, never gets old.

  • Cobra is amazing. Exactly what you want from a stupid action film.

  • That's the one! Might have enjoyed it more if my housemate hadn't talked over the whole thing.

  • Finally watched Midsommar last night, it was included with Prime, not a bad way to spend 2 hrs, very Wickermanish.

  • Strang choice.

    Tango and Cash next.

  • The last film of the 80s.

  • The Commitments is absolutely glorious, the music stands up and it is as much fun as you can have in a couple of hours at home... I watch it at least once a year.

  • Anyone have any film suggestions for a 4 year old who found Toy Story 4 a little bit to intense?

  • Great shout.

Ratatouille is also pretty unthreatening, right?

  • Yeah...any of the Winnie the Pooh animated movies are pretty good too (for a toddler anyway)

  • Haven’t watched the commitments in years...might re-visit it. Sing street was very reminiscent of the commitments

I just watched the Beat that my heart skipped. I’m catching up on 21stcentury French thrillers.
Loved Cache & Tell no-one trying to dig up some more

  • Sing Street added to my watchlist cheers!

  • Shaun the Sheep the movie.
