Watched Obey tonight, the study of a young life with no purpose or prospects and the London riots as a backdrop, avoids the usual cliches and the lead actor is excellent.

Sorry to Bother You. Thought it was time to see if Boots Riley walks the walk, I think he does. Interesting themes, absurdist satire, a bit of a mess the way it’s put together and spoiled by some low budget fx but overall I enjoyed it. Plenty of WTF moments.

Tomorrow off to see Disobedience. Any one seen it?

I found it equal parts silly and incoherent. Barely laughed. All the "capitalism is bad" stuff was so telegraphed.

(New) Tomb Raider. Mindless nonsense. Of course the best bit was the Brick Lane scene and alleycat thing. May as well have switched off by the time she hits the police car.
