Agreed! Watched it the other night, not what I was expecting at all. I've even dug out my uni text books on Sapir-Whorf to have a refresh on linguistic relativity!

Prometheus was nonsensical rubbish in the form it was released. Still hoping it can be saved with more films adding some sense to the universe.

Its amazing they managed to string out 20mins of story for nearly 2 hours.

I was all in for Prometheus until that big Alien dude started playing the flute

Prometheus made a lot more sense once I read HP Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness. Can't believe they cut the giant blind penguins out of it though...

Watching Only Lovers Left Alive again, it's on SBS On Demand, so funny... Lol moments all the way through...

Watched that Hendrix biopic last night, what a pile of dog shit... Tho I thought the guy that played Jimi was very good in it...

I originally thought it must be one long gag all the way through but JJ is such a super earnest proto hipster that his head probably is that far up his arse... It's obvs fine to be into stuff but to make such a grand show of it in your movie is hilarious, still enjoyable mind...
