Thanks to whoever recommended Listen Up Philip. Just watched it and thought it was really, really good. Very funny.

a little bit in the same vein (awesome footage of doom and gloom): Lessons of darkness, Kuwait oil wells on fire with music and herzog voice-over

I'm considering buying myself the Herzog blu-ray collection as a moving in present when my house purchase goes through.
Really enjoyed Cave of Forgotten Dreams recently, and enjoyed all the choral shit on the soundtrack.

No worries. Try (the actually quite fucked-up) The Color Wheel. And Tiny Furniture maybe aswell.
-

Yeah I'm going to try The Color Wheel. I enjoyed Tiny Furniture, thought Alex Karpovsky was really funny in it. Enjoyed his recent WTF Podcast interview with Marc Maron too.

(Bond's parents in the book were killed skiing. Bond was semi-adopted by a ski instructor named Oberhauser. In SPECTRE Waltz is credited as "Franz Oberhauser").

Can't believe I missed out on the reissued Corgi 007 DB5s... Gah!
-
• #11259
Nix that, just bagged one!
-
• #11260
I'm sure there used to be an OG one of those at my Grandma's house.

The little ejected dude was lead I think. Not enough kids toys are made of lead.

Christoph Waltz as a Bond villain is a smart move.
-
• #11263
I had one, complete with spare villain in a little plastic bag... My mum gave all my Corgi toys away, the bitch... Just like in Toy Story 3...

Made by Michael Bay!
Why oh why?
Will Cumberbatch be in it, Batty? And Natalie Portman as Rachel?
NO! -

Spectre trailer looks pretty cool, I believe it was edited by an OG lufugusser...

The Homespun well worth a look for some quality cowboys and indians action

Good shout. Saw this a few years ago and loved it. IIRC he attempts (succeeds?) suicide and ends up in a type of purgatory (Iceland), with a great job, a beautiful wife, and a totally empty passionless existence.

Looper's on iPlayer if you haven't seen it. I remember quite enjoying it, but being a bit unsatisfied with the time spent on exploring the world.
I'm going to watch to it again.
-

I watched it again recently, found the stupid make-up less annoying second time around...
-
• #11271
Enjoyed it again, and same feelings. Really neat world, which I'd like to spend more time watching. Ripe for a shit sequel, or comic book spinoff.

A guy at work has not seen any of the rocky films. Wasn't sure whether to post here or epic fail.
-
• #11273
He deserves a medal...
-
• #11274
I've not seen any of them either, other than the bit with Stallone running up the steps and any bits used in the video to Eye of the Tiger.

I like Rocky.
I shall watch the Dieter doc at some point.
The stock footage: so awesome but it's use so utterly unethical. God bless 'merca :-/
