  • I'm not, since Stallone can't talk so others have to have any meaningful dialogue, and the women judges dialogue wouldn't be about their relationship with men

  • It's awesome, isn't it?

  • Gone Girl last night. I really enjoyed it, I didn't know the story before but the twists and manipulation were great.

I can see @greenhell's point about the heavy-handed media parts, but every Fox News clip I've seen suggests that's not too far-fetched.

  • ^ indeed, and as such, it's just not exactly a revelation that needed spelling out in such tiresomely broad strokes. it laboured an otherwise pretty nifty story.

  • this looks amazing.

  • That does indeed look amazing...

  • I watched The secret in their eyes last night on recommendation and I recommend you to track it down too, superb

  • hmmm saw Seeking a Friend for the End of the World on the tv last night
wasn't expecting much but thought it was quite a good film

    k thanks bye & sorry

  • I watched The secret in their eyes last night on recommendation and I recommend you to track it down too, superb

Second that, just watched it, its very nice.

  • the splurge: anchovy.

surprisingly less shit than i was expecting.

  • Went to see Gone Girl tonight. Really good. Hadn't read the booked so enjoyed the twists etc.

  • Same as above, really enjoyed Gone Girl and had been warned not to read the book. Fincher is a magnificent bastard and I'm really enjoying his collaborations with Trent Reznor - the audio for this film is just brilliant.

  • Automata, really good.

  • Is it tho'? Not convinced... I'm still 50/50...

Life after Beth... Fantastic film, great cast, superb performances... I can't be trusted to be objective about any movie with the delicious Aubrey Plaza in it tho'... It goes a bit weird at the end... Best use of a domestic cooker in a scene ever BTW...

  • I liked it, quite a lot.

  • Chef - All the Twitter bollocks can fuck off, and the Mother was totally vapid and devoid of any input to the film.
It was an alright 'feel-good' flick, and although it had no plot-twists, or any plot to actually 'twist', it seemed to keep my attention.

Do not watch if you're hungry. And definitelty do not watch if you don't like the stereotypical quiet nerdy kid characters who lack confidence.

  • We Are The Best

Funny and warm-hearted and touching, three kids start a punk band, squabble and make up. How the hell Moodysson can make this and Lilya4ever, which is a harrowing, gut-wrenching film is amazing.

  • Nebraska

Sweet, if slow moving film about an old man with near dementia who tries to get to Nebraska to claim $1,000,000 that he thinks he won in a marketing promotion. Some very funny moments, lots of insight into family life in the middle of nowhere. Makes me never want to go to Nebraska. 6.5/10

  • Lucy... Take two...

  • Just watched Stretch... Hmmm...

  • Saw X+Y last night at the LFF. Great British film about a young maths genius with Aspergers going to compete in the International Math Olympiad. Sally Hawkins plays his single mum. The young kid is played by Asa Butterfield, awesome performance. He's going to be a star, if he isn't already.

  • Lucy was great... Again...

Needs to be at least an hour longer tho', IMHO...

  • imagine how much more you'd enjoy it if you could use NINETY PERCENT OF UR BRAINZ!?

/i'm pretty sure that film gave me cancer.

  • isn't Lucy just Limitless though?
