I need some advice on buying a fixed gear bike

Buying a fixed gear bike for sale in the uk is a great thing to do - they havent reached their fever pitch of cool here yet, they have been big around the world and couriers tend to love them but in the uk the movement behind fixedgear's is developing day in day out. Ride around the city on a fixed gear and you will see what I mean, they are excellent conversation starters and if you find some others riding fixed-gear bicycles then you can trade tips and ride together.

I've done the same on forums about mountain bikes, music gear, BMX and track racing.

and some of those people are on here too!

Joel - we all ride different bikes for different reasons, with some of us lucky to have a few rides to suit our different needs.
Trot out and test ride a few of your top choices. Only then will you be satisfied with which bike is right. Most of us here can then advise you on how to make those minor/major adjustments to make it a better vehicle!
