Same thing happened to me after a crash. I rode with them like that for months until I stopped mucking about and replaced it.
Winstanleys has them for 12.99, and I think they do free international delivery so maybe give that a go?

This morning the guys from BMTBOnline (Bali) offered me to order the exact same Genius 5 buckle for $19 shipped, for their next shipment. I think I'll take 'em instead. Again, thanks for the info anyway, Hovis~

Thinking of dropping some money on a pair of Sidis. What's the difference between the Spider and the Dominator? I understand that the Dominators no longer have replacable parts unless you go the SRS model. Is it worth paying the extra money to get the Spiders for the replaceable parts? Anyone have opinions on the durability of the Spiders? There appears to be some very mixed reviews about them.

Spider also have carbon soles whether the Dominator don't.
Personally still happy with my Dominator, as long your insoles fit you well, the lack of carbon soles isn't off putting.

Condor have stopped selling them - I went in for a pair and they only have massive or tiny. They were not happy with that everyone complained about the inners
-
• #983
Ed are you suggesting that well fitting insoles make the sole of the shoe stiffer?
-
• #984
I'm saying decent insoles make a world of a difference if the standard one is not up to their liking.

Buy a stiffer shoe in the first place. My Dominators gave me such terrible hot spots. My bonts do not. Same insoles.

Bought some Sidi Spiders from BikeInn in black. Says in stock on the website but when I checked my order it said "awaiting stock". I then proceeded to give them a call the next day and they said stock would arrive on Monday and that they would upgrade the delivery service for free! Could still be a bit dodgy but if I actually get the shoes (in the right size and colour) next week I'd be pretty happy at that price!

bikeinn have absoutely terrible communication had my diablos with status "awaiting pickup from warehouse" for almost 3 weeks, before suddenly arriving.
So if you dont mind waiting, they seem to be fine. -

Shameless plug. I have some in good condition sidi ergo 3 vent shoes, size 44 in white that are surplus to my requirements. Will be putting them in the classifieds soon but if anyone here would like first dibs send me a PM. I'll take some pictures over the weekend

I'm cool with waiting! I just want the item to arrive at some point, my current shoes are not quite fully destroyed yet anyway!

I just won these on eBay:
Poor guy who sold them won them on eBay for £133, they didn't fit him, he re-listed (not very well), and I got them for £50.
I couldn't be happier.Just thought I'd share that with you

Hello,
Looking at new MTB shoes, I've found some Dominators for £120.
Just wondering about sizing on them.
I am a 47 usually, although my diadora are 48.Do sidi come up snug?
Ps looming at the mega (wide) flavour

Snug.
Are they the SRS version? if so, where from?
-
• #995
Not srs, just regular.
On Winstanleybikes -

You normally have to go up one size on your non-cycling shoe measurement with Sidis. They tend to be on the narrow size for guys I think (I wear mens Sidis but I have wide feet for a lay-deeee)

Any idea which shops in London has the best range of Sidis and advice from staff?
I've gone past the point of just buying stuff on the internet it the hope it will fit.
Sigma looks the best option but it's a fucking trek.

I thought condor stopped selling sidis?
Damn, looks like I should stay the old-tighten way...
btw here's my main problem (if you guys wondering)
I still can use the shoe & tighten the straps by lifting the red-buckle (untighten) then just force push the straps inside the buckle with my hand. I know it's not tight enough but I guess that'll be fine for now (until I can find the replacement buckle nearby)
