She met a girl in Oxford who played bike polo and then did some researching, found out about it, gave someone a call, cleared it at the Guardian as a pitch, grabbed a photographer and appeared.

She'll be there next week apparently, and it will be in this Saturday's Guardian if it is given the green light.

I got a call from her week before last (via Alexis) and we chatted last week and then she arranged to come down and bring a photographer.

guys about costumes for next week tournament : if anyone is lacking inspiration, i saw this guy selling colourful gimp masks ( wrestling masks ? ) in covent garden - he will be there friday again ( maybe on thursday too )- maybe worth considering.
Masks 7 to 10 quid but i'm sure you coud make better price
