I had fun, too... Not often three different people get confused for one in the space of five minutes...

Got this email today via the polo blog thing...
Hey,
Great to see the formerly derelict playground being used so well. We (local residents) campaigned very hard and saved this playground from being build on and got it refurbished (http://nblra.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html)
However it would be good if somehow you can get people to take there empty bottles and so on with them rather than leave them behind. A bit more consideration would be greatly appreciated by other users. Cheers.Tidy up after yourselves you worthless wankers.

So true. We used to be very good at picking up the rubbish before the crowds became so large.

dicki was the man when i came to rubbish removal...
It wasn't me! :D -
• #1559
we generally do clean up, but when there are heaps and heaps of people (drunks included) there is obviously some left behind
-
• #1560
should ask them if they'd help block up the gaps under the fences ;)

Still anyone with half a brain can figure out that if you bring something to the court (or anywhere) and drink from it or whatever you should find a bin to put it in or take it with you.
-
• #1562
People are obviously getting sloppy. W just need to make sure enough of us point this out to the attendees. Failing that we could arrange a group tidy up at the end, could be entertaining trying to get drunk people to do anything though?
-
• #1563
see if theres a small bin in the area...we could drag that in and solve all our problems.
-
• #1564
great, so that can get knocked over and make more mess. there's a big bin on the corner near the park, a whole 10 yards away!
-
• #1565
I actualy collected up most of the can's last week. might have missed some though.

alright mate! take it easy...it was only a suggestion.
obviously that 10 yards is just too far for some people. -
• #1567
We just need to make sure that we all pick up five things and take them to the bin. Most people suffer form the 'I didn't leave it there, why should I clean it up?' complex. Let's make a point of doing it next week...
