  • Had fun today losing my first ever game of polo. Thanks to PJ for the help with my bike.

  • you're welcome - got to watch those pesky chain bolts...

  • Same for me. Nice to to meet you, chaps.

  • pj i'm alex with the chrome bianchi, incase you didn't know. :)

  • damn sounds like i missed some fun

  • polo was fun today but, what with it getting dark quickly, we need to start getting down there earlier

ooh, and the barbecue was great! thanks to those that sorted that

  • the barbecue was an awesome touch.

i find it really tricky to put names to faces and usernames.

i find it really tricky to put names to faces and usernames.

i know, it would kind of make sense that we used our real names for our user names... what are we hiding behind? are we ashamed? hahaha! i'm actually going to go change my user name. word up to that.

anyways, glad you all enjoyed the bbq, from what carlos said i think we made some quids to buy grub/fuel for the next week. thanks to all that made a donation and resisted putting the coals out with your piss. good work! :D

  • nice idea with the b-b-q might make those winter sundays a tad warmer
i can bring some old polo mallets to burn for warmth when winter really draws in

  • Re: Firefighting with urine

I've done that once. It produces one of the most disgusting smells you'll ever experience! Not reccomended at all at all.

i said this to baddesigner, thank god he listened.

great turn-out y'day, made better with bbq. good game play, but for some reason i hit 2 balls into (ie lodging) wheels, smacked dt square on the ankle with mallett and also frame with ball. Rob broke yet another nipple, man they must be made out of butter. and i laughed when mike rocked up on a free-wheel by accident, doh!!

  • hey all!

  • hi all im a single speed rider but im thinking about moving onto fixed, i heard about the bike polo a few weeks ago and was wondering if i could come and see how its done?

  • yeah come along - bike polo is open to all, the more the merrier

  • Yeah everyone is welcome!

  • where do u guys play i now its somewhere near brick lane on a basketball court or something

  • top of brick lane, shacklewell street junction

  • The Columbia Court lights Update :

Seems that someone took the key off the fence since Sunday , so until we find a better spot ( maybe this time somewhere off the actual court ) we don't have one lying around - the 2 keys around is mine and i think Tommy's
I will drop off my key at American Mike's (trampsparadise ) before i go away for the weekend so they can take it on sunday, but if anyone wants to go to the court in the meantime then grab a gas meter key from a hardware shop first, 70p.

  • I know of a spot in Pimlico, in a school got to jump a fence and the walls are slightly off camber.

    Bit of a bust maybe

  • i think we can keep this spot though, as long as we get more keys sorted

Although if anyone knows about any underground car-park or warehouse where we can practice when it's raining then all suggestions welcome

  • sol i think we can keep this spot though, as long as we get more keys sorted

Although if anyone knows about any underground car-park or warehouse where we can practice when it's raining then all suggestions welcome

we NEED an underground car park!!.....get searching!

  • What about the one near spitalfields?

a multi-storey one (multiple games, no need to chuck mallets into the circle like mad) with a spiral skid ramp would be the best!

  • There are plenty of accessible ones in walthamstow ;)

  • now you've got something to do in walthamstow then rakan, go take some pictures put it on flickr and show us!
