I combined my surname - Da Costa and my favourite frame builder Ernesto Colnago to get something that rolls well... or I like to think so...

My name is Willis, middle name Joseph.
The Prince bit arrived upon my being as I was being pissed up sick in the DJ booth while playing a residency I used to have at a shitty bar. Sick in my beard spinning 19minute freeform jazz tracks and abusing the punters for not dancing.
Some friends started called me Prince on account of my regal manner. That became WjPrince.
True story.

I wanted something that was particulary south african... In SA a chain tool is known as a chain breaker. (Unbeknown to me, theyre known as that here as well... doh)
I think now it carries more weight with my reputation for disaster.

Watched Boyz in da Hood when it came out and I though Laurence Fishburne had the coolest character name ever, didn't think I should rip it off completely (I know I'm not that cool) so Furious Styles became furious tiles

Mine is from a while ago where a bunch of friends thought (drunkenly...obviously) that we should have Spanish sounding names for DJ'ing....my name, Owen, became Hwen and Rascale got added on to the end...ended up that Hwen Rascale went on so many posters/flyers etc for DJing that I've kept it but always gets shortened to Rascale for forums and the like.
A plague o' both their houses.
