With a locked up bike inside a library with CCTV!!! Just can't believe it! Couldn't think of a safer place to leave it... :(((
-
• #9629
The bike had a citadel lock on the rear and anothe on the front! They would have to carry it by hand and wouldn't have been easy!

It was locked up inside the library with two locks in a very secure place where I always keep it for (past 4-5 years)... CCTV will reveal the bike thief... God help them if I could get my hands on them!!!!
-
• #9634
That's a shitter; the library is about 60 second walk from my front door and I can't imagine who would go equipped to steal a bike round here.

Will also keep my eyes peeled.
I managed to get a friends Faggin back last year with the help of scoble and a goddamn sting operation organised by the islington police... have faith! -

I've just had a wander round the block to make sure hadn't been dumped nearby but no sign. Sticks out like a sore thumb round here, even my wife remembers seeing it in Sainsburys regularly

Thanks! Thanks everyone! Couldn't ask for anymore.... Just one thing! The saddle is changed recently to a Colnago Mapie HOSKAR saddle... A bit worn out faded and scratched... I am so much hOping that the CCTV will show the face of the little cunt that walked away with a locked up bicycle!

Shit Ian. Sorry to hear of your loss. I hope for a speedy return to you.

Cable to rear deraillieur looks too long, chainset looks kinda weird (bcd looks too small), steerer tube of forks looks too long. Obviously the thief took the bike to correct these mistakes!

Thanks Justin & other members! It's like a bereavement... Very surreal feeling when it happens to you... Never Think it will happen until it finally does! I bought that frame in Milano 17 years ago brand new and had it equipped with record dual pivot era 8 speed with virtually all original parts... Dee side cycles... Simply gutted... If anyone tries to sell this on the street or dare try via Internet Gumtree or eBay.... I will personally see that they go down and serve time!!!!
