  • hussy, have you followed the instructions in this thread?

    http://www.lfgss.com/thread52193.html

Have a look. Hope you manage to find it!

  • Hi Oliver, I was just reading that post before I read yours, but thanks for the advice. I had the bike in the plumbing shop with me, me and the owner almost caught the thief - but only almost. Can anyone suggest markets for me to check out this weekend??? thanks Una

  • Well, Brick Lane is the obvious one, but there has also allegedly been stolen bike activity at the top of Broadway Market (junction with London Fields, Lansdowne Drive, and Westgate Street). I can't confirm that, but there have been a lot of rumours. Stolen bikes are also said to have been sighted at the Kingsland Waste Market. I haven't heard of other local markets, but of course it's just as likely to end up on Gumtree. Good luck.

  • From inside a shop is bad luck.

  • Make sure you send a picture to the Cycle Task Force. They value them especially highly.

  • I have wrote a good description on the general forum.

can you write it here? (I take it's not the "slate blue" dodgy sale described above)
