I just posted this on bike radar but thought you guys might be more likely to recognise it. Basically, this ebay ad smells fishier than a Grimsby lass's nether regions.

being as it's a Japanese import you'd expect a little more detail to be included into the auction.

Any one have any ideas? should someone buy it and meet him with the police? Is this feasible if we don't know who the owner is?

seeing as it's "cash in hand" collection only, and the seller is new with no feedback, presumably you could "win" it then go and check it out and ask some serious questions without fear of repercussion, but you can't get the filth down unless it was nicked from someone who can prove it's their bike.

the poor description should and does not make this person a thief or a fence though.

good bicycles can be bought from police and airport auctions. innocent until proven guilty and all of that. that said ......

he is also selling an ajp. ask for the serial number and maybe from that you might be able to trace it through the shop, no? maybe they would know who it was made for.

My Mate at work just had his Mint green Condor Pista nicked, chained up on Kinsland road.

Mint green in colour, well used (few dinks and scratches)
Black Drops (no grip on one side)
Only front brake (drop levers style)

He's pretty pissed off, anyone seen anything like this on the Bricklane Sunday Market run last week? or similar?

He would obviously very much like it back....

that's a scam, he doesn't even have the bike as it's in New York at the moment.

if you notice also, every bike is in a completely new location, taken, with what looks like different cameras too.
