My hack cargo bike was stolen from near Graham Rd last night. Gah.
Titanium frame, mini front wheel, large grey plastic cargo box, a nightmare to ride, glued together!

I suppose Greendale does have a few hiding spots for a stakeout. This is a publicly viewable thread so the reach is big I guess, anyone can view it.

Looks like they've taken it down as it wasn't working properly

I just take interest in what it is that makes a rider look like they might have stolen a bike.
Bike thieves tend to wear shoes, and shirts, often hoodies (see: hoodlum) but sometimes coats. I’d venture most of them carry a phone and/or keys somewhere on their person. All of the bicycle thieves arrested in London during March 2021 are current or former children.

Woah, this is gonna take a while.
Nice you touched on the hoodie though, important distinction so I've heard.

Easy to spot. Let’s help her get it back.

Hey, my Engima Excel was stolen yesterday. A bike that's got me through a lot of things and over a fair few things too! I'd love it back. A friend suggested this was a good place/community to share with to lookout. It was the prototype (2015), so fairly unique. Titanium and Discs and pannier eyelets added specially. If anyone sees it out and about, I'd be very grateful. All the best.

Re. post #15895, I'm pleased to say I have the bike back.
Someone in East London bought it after it was advertised for £600 on Shpock on Tuesday, before realising it was stolen and contacted me via bikeregister.com.
I gave him half what he paid for it, and we both walk away a little poorer but a little wiser.
I did wonder if I was being scammed initially, but having met him I have every reason to believe he was legitimate, and am thankful for his honesty. There are some good people out there. -

What dog breed is that?

• #15896
He looks like a Pharoah Hound, but he's a Podenco rescue from Ibizan Hound Rescue in Spain.

Was the chain left at the scene? Kryptonite have a compensation policy that almost never applies but might apply.
-reread your post, thinking the chain was taken with the bike...
-
• #15898
Yeah, unfortunately the chain was taken too

Hi guys,
Had my Orro Terra stolen last night from London Bridge, right outside Vinegar Yard. Went for one pint too many and my bike was stolen between 21:30 - 23:30. Have done all the reporting, however if anyone sees it on gumtree/ebay/facebook (I'm checking constantly, work can do one today) that would be awesome.
Rewards to be had in beers and/or sterling.

If you popped onto the thread to mention you'd had your Sky team issue Pinarello Bolide stolen in East Dulwich...all of @Chopsicle 's post would be very interesting/useful.
