Stolen bikes

but anyone around Dalston lost a 105 disc Cannondale?

Dunno if anyones missing a blue cervelo, but theres a guy on my train with one who definetly doesnt look like he woupd be riding a bike, let alone a cervelo

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

My girlfriend had her nearly brand new Boardman Team Carbon stolen when thieves broke into an underground bike shed in our apartment in Hackney, London on Monday 25th September, at 10.20am. There was CCTV opposite the shed door and it has taken clear face pics of the thieves (but only the cops have access to footage due to data privacy reasons).

An online advertisement exactly matching my girlfriend's bike has appeared - I have passed on details to the cops but not sure what can be done further.

It's her birthday today and she's devastated to lose it. Any help recovering it would be very much appreciated—please message me!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm considering this course of action but I understand it's probably not the safest. But if there are absolutely no alternatives I may just have to do this.

The police will advise against but i know a few circumstances where the bike has come up for sale on gumtree, they have done nothing and before you know it it's gone. Take some pals with you and confront, ask for a test ride and ride into the sunset or even buy it back if you don't mind the money. You could even try calling the police to say you've seen your stolen bike and hope they get there in time to help you out.

Very sad to report the theft of my beloved red Biondi.

It was stolen at 2.10pm on 26th September 2017 from on the corner High Holborn and Great Turnstile in broad daylight locked up with D-lock and extender.

It had full Ultegra 6800, Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheelset. Deda carbon post, Deda stem, Cannondale branded ally bars. It even had a brazed on Italian flag on the top tube near the seat cluster!

This bike is extremely close to my heart and I would love to see it again. Any info would of course be gladly received. Monetary or beer based rewards for anyone who can help.

Absolutely message them and offer to buy. Arrange collection, take the boys round. Say this bike is stolen, I'll be taking it or calling police. All the while having the boys edge closer and closer semi surrounding now very scared thief.

fully agree here, have had a couple mates do this with total success. Plus it will feel amazing :)

Krypto Mini D and krypto cable.

I didn't lock it correctly, D lock was unharmed, cable was cut.

I've never been so attached to a bike before; shite.
