Adding photos of my stolen bikes ....
Specialized langster pro in grey with yellow bar tape on bullhorns and a black canyon endurace with a hunt wheelset.
Both fairly unique in terms of parts and spec, particularly the langster pro. Both stolen by a gang with angle grinders.

My flat was broken into and my black Ridgeback Voyage touring bike was stolen. It is the 2013 model but I changed the mudguards to black and shorter ones, and the handlebar and saddle were no original but black. Here is a picture of the original, unfortunately I do not have pictures of mine because my hard drives are gone too.
I checked on gumtree and ebay but please let me know if you come across anything.

Hackney Cycling Campaign has been running a bike library offering families the chance to try out family bicycle equipment. It's a great initiative getting more young families on bikes. Unfortunately someone broke into the garage over the last few days and stole 1 ladies bike, yellow double Croozer trailer, 4 Hamax rear seats. It's a real shame is this is a setback in a great initiative for getting more young families on bikes. Please do get in touch if you hear anything.

Just came to post this, good people and a set back for the project. The only up side is they know tons of parents who ride in the area and run a few rides with them so the trailer and stuff will likely turn up on one of the rides.

My friend's brand new Cannondale CAAD8 Sora 7 2016 fresh from Evans stolen from the bikes racks outside his office on 1 London Wall yesterday. Guy seen on CCTV bolt cutting the two cable locks. Frame number: ZM66775. Black and bits of grey/charcoal. Size 58cm. Had flat grey/silver pedals, a silver pannier rack at the back and two bottle cages. Sad times.

Why are people still using cable locks?

What a particularly nasty theft. Good luck with the hunt.
Awesome thread page number, hopefully it will give you all some luck in getting back your steeds.

Part of the problem is people who are prepared to buy these bicycles without asking questions.

That's just round the corner from my house. I was mugged and beaten quite badly walking home past that park from Shoreditch around Christmas time a few years back. Ugh.

I've just seen this outside Skinny Eric's in HW if you're still looking?
-
• #13215
Amazing...thanks! Is it being sold by them or does a punter have it?
-
• #13216
Skinny Eric's is closed. It's just locked to a lamppost outside the kebab shop no one was around. I was only there for 10 minutes though. I didn't have a lock, so I couldn't lock it. I hope you get it back

Great work! This thread is generally just a depressing place as bike after bike is posted stolen, and rarely another word about them uttered. This time, it actually worked! Brilliant. Any more details on what went down?
-
• #13222
No problem! I'm glad you managed to get it back! Did you find out who stole it?

It took me a year to pay for it... And I enjoyed its sweet ride for two years until it was snatched from in front my flat in Oxford (and I thought Oxford was safer than London... not for bikes!).
Purple & Silver Marin Terra Linda SC2 bike taken from on the night of 03rd May (it was locked to a bike rack).
The bike has a (removable) rack, Pitlock (wheels can’t be easily removed as I have the key), some paint chipped off the frame (where the lock hit the frame), and small white paint spots on the handlebars.
If you see it around, let me know!!! I miss it like crazy...
Many thanks guys.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Ellie. Yes, bike theft levels in Oxford are quite high. They may well be lower than in some/most/all parts of London, no idea how they compare.
I'm not assuming you don't already know this, but the problem with locking up a bike in front of your flat is that a thief can see over time when it's going to be there, how it's locked, and can come prepared.
Hope you recover it!

The moped gangs are also taking bikes off people now, this was on a backstreet in N1.

You probably don't want to be posting the frame number online...
