Searching the phone number brings up "35mm bike gallery" and a sale for a car, also a vague address of Minet Road/Splicer Close.

STOLEN BIKE
Hello
Had my bike stolen from a corridor in an office building on Kingsland road this evening at 7pm.
The perpetrator cycled south having, I know this by reviewing the CCTV footage from the club next door
Right next door to the Alibi.
My bike is 3 colour and very easy to spot.
Its Red Yellow and Green in block colours.
some of paint has been chipped away due to ware and also where I put my D-lock on.
Black plastic pedals
Black "charge" seat with orange stitching
Also it has a yellow frame for the back wheel
And a front break on the right hand side of the handle bars
with cork coloured rubber handle bars.
PLEASE if any one sees it please contact me!

brazen but dodgy... I've asked for details of one of the bikes, cos if it's my stolen one I'll know. Don't know how else you could work out if actually man with really random collection.
Looks pretty dodgy to me. He is also trying to avoid ebay fees by doing "cash on collection", so I reported him for that and least that might throw a bit of a spanner in the works if he's selling nicked bikes.

Cross-post from Langster thread:
Hi my bike was stolen from me in Kings Cross on 12 Dec 2013 - Re-sold on Gumtree on Dec 28 (an hour before my arranged meeting to 'buy' it) Possibly seen around Stoke Newington recently..or not. Sorry for stinking up the thread with a stolen bike but you guys are most likley to recognise it around town… Also if you're currently riding it and happened across this thread, I really can't advise strongly enough how benficial it'll be for you to cut your losses before I see you on it.

My girlfriend had her bike stolen (black and green Concorde bought from saarf on here) in November, and after regularly checking bikeshd since then I spotted it for sale on gumtree on Saturday. I let the Met police know, gave details as to how we knew it was her's, and it was returned to her today! Really great from the police, very very grateful. Not sure what's happening to the bike thief as it's still an ongoing investigation, but glad to have it returned.
We've since bought another bike, from here again, that fits better, so the Concorde will be for sale shortly.

Congrats also Tom. I nealry got mine back form gumtree but missed it by an hour..
Cops, well so far less than impressive, but have at least (after I complained) called the 7 people who contacted the seller when it was up on gumtree. Good luck everyone.

Cross-posting this from classifieds:
Hi everyone, sorry to post this here but just wanted to warn any potential buyers of a stolen bicycle that is out on the London streets, and to see if we can arrange to get it back.
I built this bicycle up for my friend as his first fixie and it was stolen from outside his flat in Earls Court around the 15/16th January. He was loving it so obviously gutted it is gone so if you spot it around London it would be much appreciated if you let us know....not so we can track down and punish (pretty sure it was stolen in a van in bulk with all the neighbourhood bikes) just so we can try and buy it back.
It is a Giant Bowery frame with a small dent by the logo, a FSA crank set and brown San Marco saddle - photo is attached.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks
Laci and Matt
