    excited face

  • pics?

  • any word on this?

  • For those of you guys with me at King's, I'm on a blue-white fade frame (Motobecane but without any decals) with blue tyres and white taped drops..

I've always locked up to the railing with the big drop the other side, seems the best place to me and the hardest to steal from as there are usually smokers just opposite..

I've noticed the Holdsworth before and saw a couple of guys showing off a Fuji to an older guy, was it that one that got stolen?

    the beautiful penn state bike...

  • Don't think anyone has posted this yet, but Lark's bike was stolen for the Fixed Gear Magazine launch party on Saturday night.

Bright Blue Carlton 60's frame with 'Dildo' bars, tan charge saddle and Goldfinger front brake.

She will be very grateful for anyone who keeps an eye out for it.

    Cheers.

  • Cross post sorry - didn't realise there was a thread devoted to nicked bikes.

    Original post here - http://www.londonfgss.com/thread13414.html

It was locked to railings outside the Walkabout Bar, Angel. Shit lock - combination lock made of twisted wires about 6-7mm thick. I know. Shit lock. Lesson learned.

Haven't seen it at Brick Lane or on ebay or gumtree.

It still looks like this (bought it off the good JimL) except it has the original pedals (cages) back on it. Pics here - http://www.londonfgss.com/post165083-3.html

    Slightly buckled rear wheel.

If you see it let me know!

    was it stolen from inside??

  • Yup, she arrived late (10ish I think), and chucked it on the pile near the door without a lock. She's kicking herself. No-one saw anything unfortunately.

  • That fucking sucks.

  • shit, that is out of order. hope she gets it back.

  • That's fucking terrible.

  • thanks for posting it Ben, thought i would link a photo to the Laerke got her bike stolen from the after party :( on Flickr - Photo Sharing!@@AMEPARAM@@http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3026/3089751728_8384f9619a.jpg?v=0@@AMEPARAM@@3089751728@@AMEPARAM@@8384f9619a, -they were very kind to put it up too. As noted I am indeed kicking myself and truly grateful for anyone looking out for it.

  • bummer :(
such a nice bike, but that could be your saving grace since it will be easily recognised.
Lets hope someone somewhere sees it

  • those thieves had the cheek - taking a bike from a bike party, they knew they would have got slaughtered had someone spotted them. That's like going over for dinner and walking out with the owner's sofa, the scumbags.
    I'll keep an eye out.

I got some funny remarks locking up my bike inside the living room at a party.
But its clear how with an open door, and everyone being wrecked how things can get pinched.

  • STOLEN: SS with unusual specialized alu prototype frame, black open pro rims, chorus cranks & keo pedals

Long shot but if any one spots this (on brick lane 2moro maybee) please get in contact at stevie-c-22@hotmail.co.uk or PM me here... for a reward of a few pints.

Dunno much about its origins but its vertical rear drops are about 121mm spacing (no bend in stays it was made like this). noticable by the STUPID LONG REAR AXLE I added, pokes out about 3/4 inch each side. Suffered serious kink in rear rim and re-trued not too well. Stolen from railing just outside dovetail pub on St. Johns square off the Clerkenwell road. Friday between 6&8pm. Partly my fault for using a shit ass lock

  • I love that pub. Good luck with recovery.

  • STOLEN

SS Charge Stove, rear brake only, cut down bars and Dales favourite grips!
You don't see many about so it will stand out.

I managed to keep hold of it for less than a week!!

It was lifted from Fiddys house yesterday. they left the Masi, full carbon lightspeed, state of the art Moser, Perfect Nag and Gazelle to pick up the £130 Stove.. I can only assume they are amateurs??

Would appreciate it if you could keep your eyes open and let me know if you see it knocking about. if you do lock it up and drop me a txt (number on the private thread) I'll dish out a kicking from there.

    Merry chrismtmas
