I am always upset at bike theft as I have had bikes stolen before and actually got one back on my high street with guy riding it he ran off when I found him riding it but he ditched it and I got it back and cornered him my wife said to leave it as there were three guys so I did, be carefull if you try to retrieve it or find it call police. Also would be good to check these bike places as they have been known to purchase stolen bikes (maybe without doing checks), as follows:

Some places dont check owners out enough and may be worth warning these shops that are in distance of the theft that you want it recovered if it comes in mention the reward, although they should do it as it is their duty.
also Squeaky Chains CIC is near that location.

my previous post re bike shops not suggesting they will knowingly buy a stolen bike bit if you tell them your bike is stolen they may see it come in as i expect this guy may sell it on to another criminal who may try to sell it at a bike shop or through e bay or gumtree i expect that is why it can take three weeks for a bike to show up on internet sites as it may change hands within criminal circles, best of luck

assuming you have an ebay account set your search to distance from where bike was stolen and then search. it may not be listed as condor so may need to just look under cycle and trawl through it to see what is around that area.

Absolutely gutted … my 29er Kona Splice got stolen from the office today at approximately 5.30 pm, close to Kennington Park SE11.

Only had it for 5 days.

Sorry to hear this. Reminds me why I left London, now when I go back it shames me. Friends cant see it though, de-sensitised to the mess that it is.
I can leave my bike outside my front door by mistake and someone will knock and tell me here in North Devon. There are disadvantages though, not many different names in the phone book ;)

Really touched and amazed with all the response from all of you guys - additional forum donation when returned, with pleasure! The hunt is on for this little prick. I hope this also keeps everybody vigilant when it comes to keeping their bikes safe and secure, even in a "safe" place there is some wanker looking to rob you.

Feel free to distribute his chubby muggy face all over the place as some where some time soon he will pop up and rob your or your friends bike - with any luck someone will like the satisfaction of £500 in their pocket more than him.

Condor Acciaio Carbon - Stolen from the office today just after 5pm in Waterloo, from the second floor of the office right outside the office door where it was chained to the railing.

Livid, not least as I cleaned the chain this morning. We have a cycling trip this weekend, and now no bike...

Bought on LFGSS sunday before last.

Seems dodgy as fuck. I think we'd need someone to ID a bike as theirs for the police to care though, even though it's highly unlikely he has that range of bikes at those prices for legit reasons.
