captain birdseye, gazing naughtily at simon in the van:

"i'll give you a hand with your chopper, me hearty, if you give me a hand with mine, harrrrr"

to understand contextual you have to be contextual (that actually makes no sense, but hey)

i'll let hovis explain that one properly, he was my tutor all last yr but i dunno guess its kinda a none medium specific devision in the CSM Fine Art dept of the Foundation that focuses on the concept ahhh i dunno basically were the cool kids in town so take that asm you shitty sculpture student MAH HA HA (swipes his cap over his face before throwing a smoke bomb on the ground and making a cliche exit of jumping dramatically out of the ground floor window onto his trusty steed(which happens to be a fixie) and rides off into the nigt, orshuts his window and gets onto converting esp's into transpart png's like hes ment to be) what ever the case MWAH HA HA

  • are you on drugs?

  • the-smiling-buddha
BRM666 Sunlight and daylight surveyor. Surely the LEAST interesting job on this thread...

That sound like a lovely job, measuring sun light
It would be great if you got to physically go out there and measure it, but some prat has gone and invented a software program that simulates it.

    Edit: Smiley face thingy.

  • aidan are you on drugs?

    WHO'S ON DRUGS?

    DRUGS? WHO SAID DRUGS?

Senior lecturer in Contextual Practice. doesn't sound too sexy, does it?
I don't know what that is but it sound pretty cool to me
art without a predefined medium. mix in theory and contextual awareness and voila. ungh...it's all going to start again soon.

and apparently it makes my former students do loads of drugs.

  • I do bits and pieces, enjoying as many hours in the sun as the UK climate allows, sales/supply in the motion picture film business - also fashion photography, and also out on the bike spinning, during those rare times when the roads are dry (no one likes soggy shorts and a cold, wet arse!)

... trying to be vague and not too vague at the same time, ha ha :)

  • Sculpture student at CSM. "Contexxxtual practice" was next door to me. Definitely has the coolest name.

What actually goes on in that madhouse is another matter altogether!

tuuuuuuuuurd give it up you nutcase, you're so contextual you poo out of your elbows. At least i know where i stand with my block of marble and my trusty chisel.

Whoa, you get to drive something that goes fast and has a SIREN, I'm impressed

  • A siren that deafens us cyclists as they go past :P

I'm primarily a student and will hopefully (results next week!) be studying a masters in chemistry at Imperial College London. At the moment though I'm working in an extremely well known record store as their new technology department guy and general music/dvd/games assistant.

Don't worry about them sirens, turn your ipod up, innit

  • one day those sirens might be coming for YOU! i'd trust a fixie-riding paramedic with my life, dunno about you! :)

  • Yeah i would! imagine if you came across hippy strewn in a ditch, you'd make sure he got his bike to him in one piece. Well i would.

  • :)

Don't you just love the way it's impossible to convey any tone whatsoever on the internets?

  • asm Yeah i would! imagine if you came across hippy strewn in a ditch, you'd make sure he got his bike to him in one piece. Well i would.

Once I'd spotted it on ebay post-recovery, yeah? ;-)
