fixedpip Nitto NJS Pro AAs are only available as 1" quill stems.
I'm guessing your Chris King is threadless and so is your fork so it ain't going to work. If you've got a 1 1/8" threaded set-up then you're pretty much SOL on any decent stem.
What you need is a threadless stem like the Deda Pista or CKT.
yep. so would CKT 35 degree stem with shim and nitto drops work? or would i be able to change the heaset?

Thompson?
Oh you said 'cheaper' ;-)

[cite]My Thomson is just a bit ugly even if it does the job perfectly.
David, what thomson have you got? I've got an Elite and think it looks well on the bike. Sure its a little bit fatter than yr average stem but its so stiff. But the big plus was that it has very clean lines on the back, ie. no bolts on the back

hippy are you still flogging your stem??:)
-
• #32
Yep, but it has developed tiny cracks from over-use. Still want?
-
• #33
im sorry i think you missed the 'take the piss out of hippy' thing then........flogging your stem......get it.......get it...:)
-
• #34
No, i got that bit.. hence the "over use" comment. I just thought you might actually want it..
-
• #35
dont lie hippy......you were to slow!
im sorry i got your hopes up:( one day some one is going to want your cracked stem....one day:( -
• #36
I don't lie. I think it's coz it's a 2-bolt stem and not the better gripping 4-bolt.
And it has some carbon tube thing under it to spread the load?I have a spare ring if you'd prefer that?
-
• #37
oohhh yeah i need a new ring! mine is to small:)
-
• #38
You need more carbon fibre.. it allows you to make do with a smaller ring.
-
• #39
ummm thanks,il look into that
-
• #40
and keeps you regular

pip What about ITM eclyspe stems
ITM Eclypse has my vote as well - they looks nice plus will be probably cheaper than any other stems like Nitto etc.

the eclypse reminds me of the zoom mtb stem (1" quill) i had...
oh i see what he means by flipped now, how ingenious!
