It's a modern take on Cipo's Saeco CAAD. I don't think he's swung his leg over that. Or has he?
So that show... - seemed very pricey to get in. Was it any good?

That's a current 'dale in the style of Cipo's, although the decals aren't quite there

Having checked the pictures you're right....bastard, that was the only bike there that I properly wanted...
Anyway, the show was....well it was OK. Bit poncy - I was there for about an hour in total. Had I not been bought a ticket for my birthday I wouldn't have bothered. I spent longer in condor afterwards trying to talk myself out of one of their ex-team bikes.

Did they fail like that?

Not catastrophically, but yeah, pretty much the same.
28 hole built by a guy with a rep for building them too tight.

Hot damn, just wish the tyres were a little quieter

You mean the Challenge Strada's?

Yep. We're here to nitpick, right? I'd just prefer something a little more understated, like the (old logo) Veloflex Master:
That, and a switch of brakes, and it'd be about as perfect as my tragic Italian taste could ask for.

When they are on smooth tarmac, they feel absolutely amazing. But, they always felt so fragile. I've never had so many punctures then with those tyres. There is a lot going on with the sidewalls on them though.
The Cobalto's suit it, the rest is almost all 1st gen C-Record.
I hope the sheriff stars don't follow the same fate as the post above.

The road ones are stronger, and the broken track one looks corroded, so stress corrosion cracking looks like at least a contributory factor. Keep away from salted roads and you should be fine.

^Somec is a fine beauty. Sheriff's would only be only practical in a perfect world. Same doesn't go for Delta's. Too heavy and could do with ABS.
These are holding up well!
