I used to have a pair of these on my time trial bike in the 80s. Looked nice, but really annoying if you rode them without cleats as the cages detached from the pedal body as soon as you put any sort of pressure on them.

No, definitely not the Deda bars with the pads removed. Think they are carbon, can't remember the make now, but they have a distinctive forward sweep.... Obviously, not totally helpful.
Yeah I didn't think it was those exact ones, but they're close.
