Unfortunately, I payed way more than $10k for it. These things have been rocketing in price. I am thrilled with the purchase, though. I noticed on the bars that there is a stamp for the 1984 Olympics in LA, so I am curious if this was raced in the Olympics. Quite a few teams raced Lasers in '84, '88 and '92.

Why would you pay that much for a vintage bike you were unsure of the heritage of? I doubt they're no going to ride it, or they would have bought a new one, a snip at £4000.
