FFWD puts its stickers under a clear coat, so that might be harder than expected. Might sound stupid, but this is one of the reasons that would hold me back from ever buying a pair.

True, but would you choose a (subjectively of course) less attractive option just for the sake of being unique? I wouldn't, but taste is probably one of the reasons not all bikes look the same (except for the high end HHSB's maybe).
