^ not really a fan of the bars either.
I dunno, i quite like them...perhaps a little wide for my tastes, but it's always nice to see someone trying something a little different without it looking completely shit!
CXP 14 actually, bloody rare since they don't make them anymore, bit of a shame cause I would love to have that rims.
Ah yes, well spotted Ed! Although i think the 14s had more or less the exact profile of the 30s. Very nice on the right bike though, preferably something a tad more modern!

Right, now that's more like it! Pure class. Looks like it's just arrived from the 1970's...ace!
Although, the stem should be lower. But to be honest, who cares...it's fookin mint! -

That's what I was thinking. Nice layer of snow and nice lighting but that's it...

On a similar note to the lovely Zeus, I also found these pics whilst looking for old Raleigh catalogues.

Why should the stem be lower?
it shouldn't.
hipsters like to have stems set to unrideable angles, in order to make themselves look like even bigger cunts, that's all it is.
-
• #8691
Any stem that's angled down should be mounted in the lowest possible position!
If the handlebars sits to low change handlebars, stem or frame-size IMHO

Agree, to get the bars to the height a 90 degree stem could be used and set low. This would remove a bit of flex (the thing I don't like about quill stems)
