The Cervelo (on the previous page now) looks a pretty much identical (in set-up) to Dan Martin's current one:

Really don't look that similar

Sorry if re, been out of the loop.
Best looking Moots especially as it has the (imo normally) clunky Moots stem?
[QUOTE=Itisaboutthebike;4221955]Also silly coloured chain ring bolts with matching QR's and seat collar. **Plus mismatched headset cups **and Shouty chain.
I'd guess he's going patriotic. It works at both national and State level (stars and stripes/Tennessee).

Don't think that's a bad thing to be honest, it also mean the pro can go a size smaller for a good race fit (Paris Roubaix show this, and Mark Cavendish's sized down Tarmac).
Make so much more sense in production without having to have two run of frame like the BMC Impec, only a few manufacturer made one-off frame like Cannondale did to Sagan (massive reach and tiny stack for the uh-may fit).
How about you lot run spacers and deal with that. I'm going to have to run a 140mm stem on my next road frame the way things are going.

140mm is crying out for a Colnago.

?

Colnago work best with longer stem, or so I heard.
-
• #85989
That's not specific to Colnagos. Racing bikes were designed for 120-140mm stems. Stems and TTs have shortened and headtubes have grown along with the buying public's bellies.

I love a 58cm bike with a 110 stem and 46cm bars.

Actually I don't, that's a lie.

as far as i'm aware and as much as i have experienced, colnago's geometry favors a longer stem, leaving the body draped over the frame so your "planted...like a ferrari .." as this page says
""Colnagos are designed to use an offset seatpost and a long stem that hangs the rider's weight over the wheels, not over the frame, which results in a short wheelbase and fast handling. The bike is planted. They just handle, like a Ferrari. The weight bias is perfect. That is how Ernesto Colnago intended them to be ridden." -

Longer stems translate to slower handling. But I agree with everything else Ernesto says.

Ernie never said it tbh, it's quoted from a so called bike expert in Michigan, the link does not work properly
I find mine to be responsive and not slow -

this is the bike the review is about

Sometimes you put people right on something and I think it was needlessly harsh Tester.
Then there the times when I learn something and it's interesting to see the theory, or fact, behind it.
Then there's the extremely rare and very disconcerting moments where I understand and agree with you... and now my brain hurts. >_<
remember who you're talking to

Apparently they give you hair on your face.

The shorter wheelbase (which comes with a setback post and longer stem) is what gives the quicker steering*
*i.e. a tighter turn with the same lean angle.
Ernesto is on the money.

^zackly. Steering ≠ Handling
