A good argument for monolink seat post/saddles?

The Serotta is lovely (love the Syntace finishing kit) but the MTB pedals and small/small chaining make me sad.

Anyway I'm thinking of switching to compact handlebars (soma hwy 1 perhaps), fully taped this time.

Because tight rear clearance doesn't actually serve any useful purpose, it just makes the bike less comfortable and less stable.

Some might argue that shorter chainstays = less chain + better power transfer.

Because I like it and I allays wear gloves :)

I had the same doubt but now i prefer to ride it "compacted"
