Zipp do -17 deg stems.

Actually so do Ritchey if you want light.

It's probably easier to grab ahold of the Shimano hydraulic than SRAM at the moment.

I spent a lot of time looking at that bike at Bespoked, it's almost exactly what I'd build for myself.

Those Cielos looked nicer than I was expecting. The price would be alright if you could get it at the US price (equivalent of about £1500) without all the import duty and whatever. Over here they're something like £2400 for the frameset which just feels too much to me.

• #85182
Even 1500 fo steel is ridonk. £5
-
• #85183
It's a fair whack when you don't even get custom geometry, but it does include the Enve fork and Chris King headset.
-
• #85184
If its just light and steel you are after then why not condor super acciaio? £1450 for full custom frameset and headset ..
-
• #85185
Thats a cracking deal...

The Cielo's we got in at Kinoko were without a doubt some of the nicest bikes I'd had the pleasure of working with.
Those, a couple of the high end Indy Fabs and anything from Cherubim...

Was that part of the deal? if so, decent price.
Only comparison is the Genesis 953 with Enve for £2200 (non-disc).

Yeah.
Pricing: $2,495
Includes Chris King InSet I8 Headset and Enve™ Carbon Fork painted to match
Don't forget to add $300 for the stem, though. :-/
UK list for the Road Racer / RR Disc frameset is £2,399.

I don't really like the colour of that Cielo. I'm trying to work out whether I'd like it in a different colour. The one behind it is suggesting that if it was orange, I'd like it a lot.
-
• #85190
The orange one looked about 80 times* better than the blue one, and I don't usually like orange bikes.

That Baum is the ugliest one I've seen. With full wank 50th anniversary SR too. Barf.
-
• #85192
^ Italian tricolore cable donuts and Busyman bartape too, total wankfest.
The paintwork was genuinely incredible though, so sharp.
-
• #85193
The pictures of the Baum do look uggers, however it's actually significantly* better in reality.
*I'd still get a different colour, and proper gears/wheels.

He says... After getting three custom bikes this year!
-
• #85195
I didn't say I would build it, but that a lot of the thought that has gone into the design resonates with what I think would make a fun bike.

I'm very shocked to see an American steel bike without SRAM Force/Red. None the less, looks lovely.
Have now officially had enough of nasty coloured anodised Chris King 'bling', especially on bikes that really don't suit it.
Replace the ghastly pink-red bits with silver and it'll look quite nice.
EDIT: Also replace saddle, bar tape, hoods, cables, chainset, stem, tyres.

GTFO!
Weird geo, nasty colour, ugly chainset, orange ano with pink ano, white cables.
Did you actually mean to post it in here?
