long text
this bike belongs to track bike porn. if you would know something about sram powermeter cranks and aerodynamik regarding space between the rear wheel and the seat stay you wouldn't argue like that.
back to topic.

It's a full aero bike but it has
normaltraining wheels instead of aero wheelsThe owner
should have made the chain a little bit shorter**will fit a bigger chainring for racing **so there is less clearance.ftfy

Saw that Feather in the flesh, looks good in a photo, looks INcredible in the flesh.
Only thing I thought was the red anodising didn't really fit, should've gone for another rad colour.

Precisely.

This is it, paint job doesn't photograph well, but it looks like a different bike in person, as hard as that may be to believe...

I liked it, just the typography does not fit in with the rest of the bike.

Why am I talking nonsense? It's bike porn, it's an opinion. I might not like the same porn as you do. I'm not saying people shouldn't like it. It just don't like it. It's not my porn. I don't think it's anti, I just don't think it's porn.
It's a full aero bike but it has normal wheels instead of aero wheels. (sorry should have said rims not big enough not wheels not big enough). I think that that makes the frame look bulky. I think that more aero wheels (or even disc wheels as in the image below) would make this bike more awesome. The wheels are perfect on a conventional track bike. It's just the combination I don't like.
The clearance between the rear wheel and the seat tube makes it look weird. The owner should have made the chain a little bit shorter so there is less clearance. The looks of the bike would improve. Might be that another wheelset could make the clearance look more normal.
The frame is nice. Really it's an awesome design. It could be in bike porn but I don't like the paintjob. I looked at the Edge frameset on the website of BT and that paintjob a lot better then this paintjob IMO.
Change the cranks for something black or carbon (or even partly) to make it look better. The cranks are way to obvious and hasn't got a wow factor imo.
I'm not saying it's an ugly bike. It's not, but this is my opinion.
The way this version of the same frame is setup is a lot better.

This was the setup for the london olympics. I think that this is way more porn. Made for the track, made for the champions. The wheels, the paintjob, the cranks, the clearance at the rear wheel. It just looks better. This bike can handle the look of disc wheels.
Dont suppose you have ever been to a velodrome and know the difference between training/warmup wheels and race wheels? And what swapping them around on your bike does to the clearance between rear wheel and frame.
Edit: and the same training/warmup setup goes for the gray front ring as well ofcourse.

You see I started posting just this regarding the wheels. But assuming a race wheelset with a smaller sprocket. Thus moving the wheel the wrong way.
So I didnt bother.
Would you really swap chainrings?
Doesnt that feck with the SRM calibration? -

which one? the yorkshire, the feather, the integrated or the enve?
-
• #80019
Both Yorkshire and Feather, it doesn't fit with the modern appearance of the bicycle.

erikjonsson. I do know the difference. However, I talked about the looks of the bike in the picture as a complete setup. Take a random porn track bike from this topic and place riser bars on it.
This is the last thing I'm going to say about it.

It's not perfect. But it's badass enough to be porn. That's why I posted it.
