Actually, the others are all shite too.
Indeed.

What's the point of having the two front rings so close together in size? ^^
If you're not going 45km/h+ on flats i don't see the reason of riding a standard crankset. I may have weak legs, but with cx gearing (46/36) or even a compact (50/34), i get to use the whole range of the cassette. On a 53/39 i rarely have use of the smaller cogs.

Is the fork longer on the top one also or is it photo angle?
-
• #79961
Looks like a slacker headtube angle even.

That's really nice. Just the right amount of coloured ano.
The front hub looks odd though. Any idea what It is. ?

wiener pretty much pointed it out - road tyres vs. CX tyres.
-
• #79966
Yes, is what it could be, but do you know 100% or are you just speculating further? Those cx tyres look quite skinny anyway....

The wheels are Cole, I think the T24-CX DSA2 tubs:

Good deal at Evans there btw. They have road clinchers at a similar discount too, Campy freehub only though.

There is actually 2 disc versions: the road and the cx one, the difference is actually the clearance,
but I doubt the guy bought the road version to run cx tyres. -

SHUT DOWN EVERYTHING! we need to solve the mystery of the fork length first!

The reason I find everything you say so funny is because I read it in Tobias Funke's voice.

image not working?
In general, Half-step. On that bike, it doesn't actually look that close, you're just used to seeing huge jumps between rings now that 39-53 or 36-50 are standard for doubles.
