I had one, sold it after splitting its functions between a Look 464 (better track bike) and a T3 (better TT bike)
why a 464 over a koga? Surely the 596 would have checked both of above boxes

Needs to lose the spacers, but still. 5.2kg OTP.

I find the 464 nicer on the track than the Koga, mostly because it fits better but I also think it's a bit stiffer. Any track bike which fits me will be useless as a TT bike, because the head tube will be too long; that applies to the 596 too, although simple financial considerations ruled it out anyway.

is that DA9000?
-
• #77111
Yeah. I'd swap the Cannondale cranks out for the 9000s and accept the extra 120g or whatever it is. But I guess for some people that's like swapping a turd for a poo.

I'd do the same thing - despite the looks the DA cranks are meant to be very good, so you yet more than just an aesthetic benefit for your 120g.

Love that bike, although I'd get the fear my fat arse would break it just by looking at it

The LFGSS blue strip down the back of the seat tube is especially nice.

Chainring looks like a BMX one.

First Orbea I've ever seen that I've thought: "yep, totally would"

Even with the Fred bars on it?

clip ons can be removed.
Plus - clip ons in the context of mountain TT set up can still be porn-ish.

It would make more sense to have those TT bar on, some TT event have a bike swap where they ditch their TT rig for a road one when they're on their last climb.

hmmm not sure why I care, but all this switching bike for climbs in TTs really irks me. Just choose a bike for a course, ride hard and HTFU on the climbs. If you need to change for a mechanical then the swap should be like for like.

Saw that Cannondale Black Inc edition at a shop in Pasadena a few weeks ago. Probably the best-looking new OTP bike I've seen in a modern bike shop, ever. All the ENVE bits (rightfully marked with tiny low-key black logos) elevate it beyond most others. Nice thin stays and subtle forks too.
The price was fookin' bananas though, summat like fifteen thousand dollars. -

agree
Yes, don't know why they've shown it with that stem rather than the +10° Vibe Track stem
