So, so wrong.
For pottering around London, or even Surrey one brake fixed is alright but venture anywhere with steep hills and gravelly, icy or muddy lanes and you'd soon understand.

I ride fixed with both brakes. It means I can go flat out until I have nothing left in my legs and still slow down safely in an emergency. Surely as fixed bikes built for the road become a more common thing, they will be built for purpose, and have a place in porn.

Fixed with two brakes is extremely underrated.
-
• #75032
FWIW my road fixed has two brakes, my track fixed has none. Unless it's physically impossible to fit a rear brake, I can't see any reason for not having one on a road bike. The worst case scenario is you never use it.

My fixed road Goff has one lever, it is about to get a 'redundant' one for climbing, there was a forum debate about the original single lever, WE ARE ALL RIGHT!
I am terrified of dentists, with or without garages (see Marathon Man).
Ian Hallam was a dentist and a pro, I was terrified of him because he was scary fast.....

Lets face it, dentistry is fuking dull.

funny, I can do that with my fixed bike with only a front brake. What are the chances.

not finished yet but
Getting close to finishing the Klein. Temporary paint for now, I want some flip paint on there but its not cheap. I built the whole thing on a budget around £700-£800. Just waiting on cable end stops and rear mech.
Also gave the Dolan a little spruce.
Yeah i do like the rattyness. better shot. Dont mind the saddle angle

• #75040
I'd ride the shit outta that Klein

Total herpsterfred ride...my sorry ass wont understand whats the point is of a track frame with front brakes and lights? Guess it will not be moved on a track? Oh though! And a dead lever! This shit is so 2005!
Sure you will have lots of sorry ass excuses and resons what so ever. But this is just douche. Just get your trendass a roadframe, it will safe tires and keep you away from douchebehaviour like skidding fucking up tires for no reason. If you even skid cause you have front brake.
This shit is so over! Will this never stop?

Another failure to understand how clamps work.

No, you're so 2005. The trouble with children like you is that you think you invented riding fixed on the road some time this century.
It adds redundancy, I guess. One brake + fixed isn't really a fail though, is it? For the purposes of the porn thread, I'd say if it has a drilled bridge and cable guides, it ought to have a rear brake. If not, >>>>>>>>>>>>>chevrons>>>>>>>>>
