I've got big love for Avanti after being here in NZ for three months. Superb machines and a manufacturer to look out for in the coming years.

Lotta white stems right now. Not sure about that trend, but the bike is nice.

Avanti have been around for years in Australia.

I always assumed they just sold generic OTP Fred mobiles and hybrids.

They share tech with Focus, so you'll probably be able to get that bike from Wiggle with different decals

tester: i bow to your knowledge but, while I'm certain they do share tech, a quick peek suggests that's largely around materials and production techniques.

The Avanti shapes are quite different to focus shapes and the Corsa DR has a fair few pretty nice features that I've not seen on a focus, if anywhere else (i.e. custom QRs that mould to stays)

I agree the white stem is a little 'out there' but it echo's the white seatstays and rear of the post so, in this instance, I'm willing to forgive :)

Depends on the models, some Avanti≡Focus, but my brother has an Avanti track frame which has never been offered by Focus

Avanti have been around for years in NZ, made all the track frames for olympics teams, lots of TT bikes for triathletes etc. Also lots of shit OTPs but they've always been legit in the higher end. They seem to have been making a big international push recently.

avanti should receive a special award from shimano for making that chainset look nice.

Looks superb. Would swap the stem for something non-white. But still...great.
