There's some "nitto style" cages kicking around (on ebay) that are cheaper, but doubt the quality is anywhere near, the Nitto's are beauties. I'm still saving for my second....[/IMG]
Nitto one are fillet brazed, which is beautiful to look at, even the Velo Orange one I have is nowhere near as nice as the Nitto.

Like a St Valentine's Day "steak & blow-job" combo, Fieldcycles & Cromaworks is the best a man can get!

^ will need to save up for those, as much as I loved my King Cages, they look a touch chunky.
Did you get the titanium ones? I think the stainless steel ones look better for exactly that reason. Thinner tubing. Still nowhere near as spindly as the Nittos, but the Nittos look a bit... I dunno, delicate? Not race-y, or something. Beautifully made though.

I got the Iris which only in stainless steel (and look awesome), and secure the bottle really well, a little too well actually.
My only concern is whether the Nitto will be as secure as the King Cages.
I think I'll wait till the bike is finish so I can see how it look on it before resorting to the NAHBS wankery-style of the Nitto.

I reckon this is porn, a guy I work with built the frame and built up for himself.

I like everything about it... except for the fork geo / rake / clearances.
Still, it's pretty damn impressive. And the fork crown is really nice.
Oh, and his brake lever QR's are undone.

I thought it look awesome, I can imaging you can fit a massive tyres in the clearance than you would a Surly.
